The Story Behind Aricha – Yirgacheffe

The Aricha Mulecha Mugida Washing Station is located in the heart of the Yirgacheffe region, one of Ethiopia’s most renowned and highest-quality coffee-producing areas. The coffee cherries come from many small family farms that deliver their harvest to the washing station.

Thanks to the high elevation, fertile soils, and cool climate, coffees from this area are known for their clear fruit expression, refined acidity, and floral elegance. Aricha is recognized for its precise processing and its clean, classic flavor profiles – exactly what makes this coffee so versatile and approachable.
