Meet the Producer

Edwin Noreña is no stranger to the specialty coffee scene. With his farm Campo Hermoso in Quindio, Colombia, he sets new standards for modern processing techniques. His coffees are in demand worldwide – no surprise, as his focus is on quality, innovation, and clearly defined flavor profiles.

For Red Candy, the Caturra variety was used, a particularly fruity selection. The coffee was processed using the honey method, which emphasizes sweetness and fruitiness even more. The cherries are partially depulped and then placed directly on drying beds without washing – a process that preserves the full aroma inside the bean.

The result: a creamy coffee with medium body, subtle citrus acidity, and intense aromas of red fruits, strawberries, and cranberry – with a finish reminiscent of cheesecake.
