The Story Behind the Beans

The Kamoini Factory Wet Mill in Nyeri, Kenya, is part of the Othaya Farmers' Cooperative Society. Here, coffee cherries from around 700 small-scale farmers are processed, who cultivate their coffee trees in the fertile region near Mount Kenya. This region is renowned for its red volcanic soil and the perfect combination of altitude, climate, and sunlight, giving the coffee its unique intensity.

The Kamoini AA coffee is carefully washed using traditional wet processing methods and dried on "African Beds" under the sun to achieve the perfect moisture balance. Each bean is hand-selected and sorted by size and quality to ensure the highest standards.
