Located in Mesitas del Colegio, in Colombia's Cundinamarca region, it was once one of the country's significant coffee plantations.

Today, the farm combines its long-standing heritage with modern cultivation and processing methods. Across approximately 40 hectares, 17 different coffee varieties are now grown, including rare selections such as Sudan Rume, Geisha, Moka and Java.

Sustainability is also an important part of the farm's approach. Coffee husks, for example, are turned into worm compost and used to naturally enrich the soil. Fair working conditions and support for the local community are equally part of Hacienda Misiones.

With RARE RUME, we present an exceptional coffee from a place where coffee heritage and rare varieties come together.
